3 DAYS LEFT!! posted by CwicSeolfer on October 28, 2004
Hey folks,
This is your friendly reminder that you have
ONLY THREE DAYS LEFT!!!
Yup, you have until the 31st to complete your entry form, and send it in to Greg Page. We want to see a record number of your smiling faces there! So, don't fall victim of not turning it in! Like what happened to UMD last year. Just ask them how much that *stinks*!
Photos and data for prior years posted by Lone Shepherd on October 26, 2004
Tim and I are working on going through my photos from the past few years to get up on TerraBreak. Additionally, we'd like to extend huge thanks to Karl from UIUC for sending us a massive number of photos for most of the teams at competition these past few years.
We hope to go through all of these in the next few months and get them formatted in TerraBreak style and up on the site. We'll of course let you know when we do.
An issue has come up regarding TerraBreak team pages, data, and photos. Tim and I started this site to be a resource to the DBF community, and as such are happy for the information presented here to be used elsewhere. We even don't mind if you use our photos. However, the specific website layout used here (how the data is presented), as well as all photos from the 2004 competition (and future competitions) are copyrighted material. The data presented (scores, places, etc) is public domain -- however if you use it, you need to cite the source of the data. For the 2003-2004 Competition, we at TerraBreak collected all the data ourselves. For years prior, we used the data from the official website, and as such each of our team pages cites the official site as a source. All photos are copyrighted and cannot be used without permission. If you would like to use information or photos from our site, we would appreciate it if you get in contact with us about it first.
Whew! Anyway, we don't want to come off as cranky grumps, but we would like to know when our material is being used, and where. Thanks guys!

Don't blink, don't ever blink... otherwise you'll miss something.
Ok, maybe you should blink, but only sparingly.
I blinked and all of the sudden our staff has doubled!! In addition we've completed our two part fundraising article: Fundraising Ideas, and Proposal Letter Writing. We've still got a couple more articles in the wings , so keep your eyes peeled!
But now we need your help! We'd like to get as many of the current team's webpage links as possible. So send us your team's website address. In addition, please add a link to us on your website!
Are you a DBF veteran, or alumni? We need your help too! We are currently lacking photographs for the previous years entries, since we can't use photos from the Official Competition Website. So if you took any photos during the '97, '98, '99, '00, '01, '02, or '03 competitions please contact us about sending electronic, or hard, copies of this important history so we can fill in all the sad faces in the hangar (i.e.).

How's your team doing on money? Regardless of the answer to this question, you could probably use more, right?
Our newest TerraBreak team member Bev has written up a fundraising article for your perusal. Hopefully it will provide you with some ideas, or at least a few seeds of inspiration to jump-start your team fundraising efforts.
If you have questions or comments, feel free to email, and there's always the woefully lonely forum where you can voice your thoughts!
