The Red Zone! posted by Lone Shepherd on March 22, 2005
With 30 days to go until the competition, a new theme has been unveiled!
There's a lot of stuff to these themes, and while we've tried to update all the pages and make sure the colors are consistent, if anything looks bad (hard to read, etc) or you think we've missed anything, drop us a line in the forum; I've started a post about it.
Additionally, after a brief reminiscence with Tim, it occurred to us that our 1 year anniversary should be about now. Looking back, indeed 1 year ago yesterday the first news post to TerraBreak.org was posted. We hope our first year has been informative to some of you DBF'ers, and hope that coming years will build upon that.
44 teams submitted reports posted by Lone Shepherd on March 10, 2005
This year is another record year for DBF -- reports for 44 teams were received on time to the DBF judging committee.
Good job guys; now that that's over, finish up those aircraft and we'll see you next month!
! 1 Week ! posted by CwicSeolfer on March 02, 2005
Consider this your last warning... you have less than a week to have 5 copies of *Something* mailed to Greg Page! Heck, even MIT manages to get a report submitted to competition every couple of years... and they haven't shown up since I started competing ('00-'01). Come on, if you can write a 15 page lab-report overnight... you can get a 60page report written in 5 days. Just remember overnight guaranteed shipping costs beaucoup $$, so keep that in mind!
Too lazy to find the address in the rules, fine we'll even give you that:
AIAA Design/Build/Fly Contest/Report Judging
Greg Page Bldg 210
ITT / AES
2560 Huntington Ave.
Alexandria, VA 22303
So get off your butt, and get something IN!
